Botox is an acclaimed and 100% effective treatment for facial lines. You can get the best out of your botox treatment and avoid any unwanted side effects. However, you need to be mindful about these botox aftercare practices!
Avoid touching the treated area!
You might feel the natural urge to touch or rub the treated area to get the feel of it. Not a good idea! Doing so might spread the toxin to the surrounding areas resulting in bruising and unwanted reactions. Avoid rubbing your face for at least 24 hours after getting the botox.
Take a day off from the gym!
Heavy exercise increases your blood pressure and causes flushing of the skin. It’s best to avoid heavy exercises at least 12-24 hours after the treatment.
